HI’m Anjo-Brian Armendi, the current Key Club President of the 2015-2016 term.
I started my Key Club journey not as ‘glorious’ or ‘life changing’ it could have been… I started Key Club like no other freshman; I was forcefully dragged into the first club meeting by my brother and a bunch of upper classmen (now graduated). At first I didn’t enjoy spending my weekends with the club doing service events, but as time progressed, I gradually fell in love with Key Club. From seeing members wake up at the crack of dawn to help set up booths for school fairs, to volunteering with our local homeless shelters a few days before Christmas, or hearing the ear drum smashing screams of massive spirit rallies between Key Club Divisions (Collective Highs School Key Clubs) lasting over three hours; members like you truly inspire me to continually pursue my passions of Key Club.
But, like any good story, all things must end. With the final chapters of my Key Club experience finalizing and soon to conclude, I don’t have as many pages left in my story.
But you do…
This year and as my ultimate parting gift to San Marcos, I wish to leave a lasting legacy for future high school students with Key Club. I wish to create wonderful opportunities to ignite the passions within you so that you may one day take the podium and lead the club that we have fallen in love with.
